At Everkem, our journey has evolved beyond simply making and selling caulk. Our primary focus is building an exceptional company driven by the outstanding people who work here. The heart of our organization is our great team, which has been instrumental in our growth and success.
In the early days, my business partner Lin and I were deeply involved in every aspect of Everkem. Lin handled manufacturing while I managed sales, marketing, and administrative tasks. Despite my creative vision for Everkem, I lacked the expertise to build and manage a robust marketing infrastructure, maintain our customer database, and create designs that truly represented our brand.
Lin and I always believed that a strong marketing department was essential to our success. We dreamed of working with a technically savvy and creatively talented individual who could capture the Everkem Experience and convey our message to the world. In August 2022, we found that person in Jodie Eiler, our extraordinary Marketing Coordinator.
Jodie immediately understood our vision. Her creative flair and quick intellect have been pivotal in driving many of the positive developments at Everkem. She has an incredible ability to tackle large, complex technology projects that would overwhelm most people. Jodie’s analytical mind and thirst for learning mean that if she encounters something she doesn’t know, she quickly masters it. Her skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, video creation, and CRM systems have continually impressed us.
Recently, Everkem upgraded and deployed a new CRM system. Jodie led the team in organizing the data transition and engineered HubSpot workflows to enhance our customer engagement experience. While finding someone proficient in HubSpot is beneficial, having someone who can manage its implementation, operation, and training of others is invaluable.
Beyond her professional skills, Jodie brings a personal touch to our team. She is a holiday enthusiast and a huge animal lover, known for her quirky animal art and festive office decorations, which add warmth and cheer to our workplace. Jodie enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her dogs.
We are excited about the future of Everkem with Jodie at the helm of our marketing efforts. Her innovative approach and leadership with our HubSpot marketing automation promise many exciting developments ahead. Stay tuned for more news, and we look forward to serving you in future editions of Caulk Talk.
