Description
Hi-Temp Silicone is a red one-part, non-slumping temperature resistant silicone adhesive sealant designed for sealing and bonding applications with continuous exposure to temperature ranges of -85˚F to 500˚F and intermittent exposure up to 600˚F. It cures to a durable silicone rubber and adheres to substrates such as glass, wood, porcelain, ceramics, painted surfaces, and a variety of plastics, metals, and rubbers. Hi- Temp Silicone properties make it suitable for sealing stove and furnace vent pipes, sealing and encapsulating heating elements in appliances, moving oven belts, industrial ovens, bag filters on smokestacks, and many other critical bonding, gasketing, and sealing where parts must perform at high temperatures.
Hi-Temp Silicone is NSF 51 Certified, making it the superior choice for high temperature applications in and around food processing and storage. Hi-Temp Silicone’s properties make it suitable for a wide array of applications where parts must perform at high temperatures. Such applications may include, but are not limited to: Sealing stove and furnace vent pipes; sealing and encapsulating of heating elements; high temperature ductwork such as range, vent, and exhaust hoods; and the manufacture and repair of smokers, grills, etc.
